Privacy without hidden collection.

This notice describes the information handled when someone visits InvoicePay or creates and pays a Lightning invoice.

Information processed

To provide a checkout, InvoicePay processes the merchant profile, payment amount, optional payment note, Lightning invoice, payment hash, and settlement status. The hosting provider may also record standard technical logs such as IP address, browser type, request time, and requested URL.

Information never requested

InvoicePay does not ask for wallet passwords, private keys, recovery phrases, bank credentials, card numbers, or government identification through the checkout.

How information is used

  • To create and monitor the invoice requested by the customer.
  • To maintain security, diagnose failures, and prevent abuse.
  • To meet legal obligations and respond to valid support requests.

Service providers

The server communicates with the merchant's configured Nostr Wallet Connect provider and retrieves a BTC/USD conversion rate from CoinGecko. Your own wallet processes the actual Lightning payment under its separate privacy terms.

Retention and choices

InvoicePay does not include a customer account database in this application. Infrastructure logs and wallet transaction records may be retained by the operator or service providers according to their operational and legal requirements. Contact support to request access, correction, or deletion where applicable.
